It is said that at the Execution Wall near the water that you can oftentimes see spirit energy at the top of the wall near the gun towers. Red Coats and Spanish turncoats were executed here. Oftentimes friends or family of the prisoners would be in the execution squad. That is why a lot of the bullet holes in the wall are higher than the people would have been because they would fire high so they knew they would not be responsible for their friend's execution.

In addition, when many of the British Redcoats were killed in battles there was nothing to do with their bodies so trenches were dug from the fort on up for blocks and they were buried in mass graves. So there are spirits all over the Castillo. Evidence of this, aside from several first person experiences, is that TAPS or Ghost Hunters was at the site filming the night of our ghost tour.

• Be careful and do not enter areas which are off limits or look dangerous. No waymark is worth harm. Use your 6th sense, because sometimes there are unseen things which are telling you to stay out.
• Use care when using your camera flash so you do not disrupt any possible nearby residents. Time lapse can be the best tool on your camera in many circumstances.
