Description of Memorial:
The memorial over looks the Oostanaula River. There are 4 vertical columns that list the names of all those killed in each of the wars. There are benches between the columns. There is a central plaque with the name of the memorial and with a quotes from Calvin Coolidge. “The nation that forgets its defenders will itself be forgotten”. There are also small medallions with for each of the braches of the armed forces.
