Get your converter box... so that you can continue to pick up the local news whenever the switch is thrown. WJHL TV 11 is an CBS affiliate with its first broadcast back in October 1953 from a transmitter located atop Holston Mountain.
You can see the station with its large satellite dishes from Interstate 26 near Exit 23. Actually located on East Main Street on the one way heading northeast.
