This cathedral was originally founded as Saint Mary's Parish, back in 1841. It was later consecrated as a cathedral in 1910. This cathedral is located in the center of downtown Syracuse, New York.

This beautiful edifice is located in downtown Syracuse at 259 East Onondaga Street. The building's original purpose was to serve as Saint Mary's Parish, dating back to 1841. The church was built starting in 1874 and finished in 1910. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse was founded in 1886, with the cathedral being consecrated by that Diocese in 1910.
