She was 100 years and 5 days old when she passed.
When she was born, William McKinley, Jr. was president, just months before Theodore Roosevelt took office. When she departed us, George W. Bush was president, just months after he was inaugerated.
Ms. Rasmussen had seen both world wars, as well as every Asia, Central America and Eastern European war and conflict with US participation during the 20th century. She even lived through the Cold War. She went to a greater place before the tragedy of 9/11/01.
