This is known as the Austin House after its first owner, Horace W. Austin, who was a pharmacist in Salinas. Like many Victorian homes, it has a small symmetrical-design stained glass window over the main front windows. The side window facing Lincoln Street is simply geometric, but is quite brilliant even from outside. This old home is currently an attorney's office.
