This building replaced the historic Southern Pacific depot at this same location. Both CalTrain commuter railroad and Amtrak Surfliner use this station, but there is no agent or baggage handling here.

They've had various restaurants in this building. Some of them have been pretty good. But sadly they don't seem to last long.
