The parish pump is an ornate design with a carved, wooden case surround and used to have a medieval, gargoyle spout. There are the words 'O Ye Wells Bless Ye The Lord' on the wooden casing. There is an attracive wooden shelter around the pump with a tiled roof.

Dating from 1867 it was put here by Lord John Thynne who was the estate owner of Hawnes Park at this time, which stands opposite.
