The spring has once been harnessed in the form of a spa. Today there are only ruins of the steps, walls and pathways around the site. However, the spring still flows strongly and asparagus fern predominately surrounds it.
There are reports that the spa along with Spa Farm nearby were to be restored. Hopefully this will come to fruition one day. The spa dates to the 16th century.
