This sign is located on the back of the old Jones Vance Drug Company building in Johnson City, Tennessee. The company was the "Walgreens" of the era where you could purchase a Coke or watch battery while waiting for your prescription to be filled.
Researching the company we find that they were in business in 1950 and as early at 1919.
"Lockwood's Directory of the Paper and Stationary Trade" published in September 1919, lists Jones Vance Drug of Johnson City a retailer of stationary products.
