The posted co-ordinates will lead you to the remaining Mill structure. The mill is owned by Grand River Conservation Authority now. The creek here is well worth checking out, as the water has sculpted the rocks into interesting shapes. There are no-trespassing signs on the red mill structure, to keep vandals OUTSIDE the mill. Please don't go inside.

The red building is the most obvious structure but on the other side of the creek there is evidence of a second mill. There you will find a foundation and the remains of another millrace (complete with a crumbling arch).

History on these mills is difficult to locate - what I have found so far is that these mills were operated by the son of an Irish brother that operated the mills a few kilometers away at Eden Mills.

"Hortop’s ventures were so successful that he purchased the Everton mills and established his youngest son, Henry Jr., there. He returned to Eden Mills to remodel the old mill."
