RECOVERY NOTE BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1941 (WDP), STATION IS LOCATED ON TOP OF THE S TOWER OF THE LIFT SPAN ON THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY RAILROAD BRIDGE ACROSS CARCUINEZ STRAIT, BETWEEN ARMY POINT AND BULLS HEAD POINT. IT IS AN AVIATION BEACON ON TOP OF A SMALL STEEL FRAME STRUCTURE, ON TOP OF THE TOWER, ON LINE WITH THE CENTER LINE OF THE BRIDGE, AND ON THE S SIDE OF THE TOP OF THE TOWER.
