This old silo sits quietly near the parking area for a county park in Geauga County Ohio.

This has been a solitary silo for a long time. The land where this is located was purchased by TRW in 1968 as a planned golf course for its employees. The golf course was never built, and the land sat unused until the Geauga County park system opened this park in 1997. Today the silo stands as the lone remaining link to the land's farming past.
