The Silverton Depot was moved away from the railroad tracks and is now home to the Silverton Chamber of Commerce in downtown Silverton.

From Art Fisher’s web site 'Southern Pacific Transportation Company Depots, Freight Houses, and Line-side Structures' (visit link) the Silverton Depot is a Southern Pacific Common Standard No. 23 depot. The passenger section of the depot is a copy of the original while the freight section of the depot is original.
