The Penn Wells Hotel was built in 1869 but it wasn't always known as the Penn Wells. It was built as the Cole House and in 1925 it was sold and completely renovated, and reopened in 1926 as The Penn Wells Hotel. This hotel features the atmosphere of the era that is was built and includes a fine dining room, and bar and lounge. In the lobby is an american flag made out of glass ornaments, which was made at the local Corning Glass Works--Now Osram Sylvania!
If you are looking for a more modern stay, they have a lodge a block away that features a pool and gym.
