The barn was built aroun 1918 by the Bianchi Brothers and has been in used continuously. It's a classic American style barn. The barn was donated to the city of Sunnyvale in 2002. In 2004 the barn was deconstructed and movied from San Jose to Sunnyvale. It took 11 days to deconstruct and 19 to build again. It now serves as a barn for Sunnyvale's ten acre orchard.
