Located in the public space plaza at the center of Pittsburgh Plate and Glass (PPG) headquarters, the fountain is on four sides of a central stone obelisk. Spouts of water and jets are vertically flowing with differing intensity at different times. Children are allowed to play with the water as long as they are fully clothed and wearing shoes.
