Established in 1991, Riverfront Seafood Company is locally owned and operated by Wayne and Angie Michelli and their daughter Ashley. The original location was operated as a fresh seafood market, deli, and bait shop located several hundred yards down river from our current location. The current restaurant opened in October 2002.
The food is good and fresh, but don't get on the bad side of the owners who are strict in what and to whom they will serve.
The outdoor seating has a heroic tale. Several years ago a group of men were enjoying dinner on the back deck, when one spies a figure in the river waving her arms - a little girl is floating downstream. He tosses his cell phone and keys to a friend, and then jumps off the deck into the river to rescue the girl.
