The house is located closer to Boundary St, but the mailbox is located on Swinburne St, which happens to be on higher ground, about 20 meters higher than the house. The owner of the house positioned his mailbox on Swinburne, had it tilted so that the contents would slide into a plastic pipe, travel about 30 meters, to a collection box on the back of the house. The house has been recently abandoned. There was a dramatic school bus wreck in the house right next to it not long ago: (visit link) .

A large firecracker was once dropped in the mail chute, which damaged the collecting box below. Consequently, a padlock was placed on the mailbox.
