John Sevier was a founding father for the planning city of Kingsport, TN. This school was on the original map. The middle school moved to the former high school building in the 1970's. As part of its visioning process, Kingsport decided to renovate this former school into a fine arts and senior citizen facility. It includes a 350-seat theatre, three-story sky lit atrium, art gallery, gymnasium, meeting rooms and offices. Several of the spaces can be rented for other functions.
