"Hotel La Rose, built by Italian stone masons in 1907, is a three-story Georgian-Revival building which stands on one corner of Railroad Square. It is the largest of four releated stone building on the square and is a significant example of the use of indigenous stone by European stonemasons in the construction of commercial buildings in the Sonoma and Napa Valleys."
