Marsh Blood Bank (MRBC) is a large facility which collects approximately 25,000 units of blood and products each year. It serves sixteen hospitals in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. Collections are made at two centers in Kingsport and Bristol plus three mobile units.
I'm part of the Donors4Life program to give four times per year. Normally here every eight weeks or Julia Davis (director) is calling. After 20 years, I should be approaching 10 gallons donated. The facility workers are great, so roll up a sleeve.

MRBC has three bloodmobiles providing remote collection opportunities at businesses, churches, and civic organizations. One is regularly at Eastman Chemical Company tapping the large base of employees. First Baptist Church has two blood drives each year in the spring and fall.
