Constructed in 2007, this Bald Eagle Observation blind is located north of Barryville, NY on route 97. This blind has lots of parking and is handicapped accessible. Open 24 hrs/day and there are no fees.
Eagles are frequently spotted hunting along the Delaware River and in winter can be seen along the tree tops. What is nice about this blind is that it is located along an undeveloped section of route 97, so it is quiet except for noise from Route 97.
Route 97 has been designated as Upper Deleware River Scenis Byway.
