There are 14 lime kilns along this large wall, the wall was
built to hold the Tiverton end of the Great Western Canal.
The lime kilns were built in 1829, using the canal to transport the lime.
The kilns now have blocked chimneys for safety reasons but can all be seen, there is a well kept on a grassy area in front of the kilns.
