The East Nottingham Friends Meetinghouse was built in 1724 and added to in 1758. The brick meetinghouse replaced an earlier log meetinghouse built in 1709. The meeting house and cemetery are on land granted by William Penn in 1701. The cemetery has graves of many of the early settlers and church leaders. Also the cemetery contains the unmarked graves of Revolutionary War soldiers who died at the Meeting House when it was used as a hospital during the war. Many of the earliest graves are unmarked. The cemetery has expanded is part of or adjoins a larger Rosebank Cemetery.
