This is Male Dragontree's ancestral home and yet he didn't know he lived just up the road for many years. It was here that the family name could be found as we delved into the archives and met long lost relatives.

Lavendon is known as Laundon and it is called this in Australia. The relations who emigrated down under named their home 'Laundon' after their home in England.

There is little information available about the house and many additions have been made throughout the years. Today it is a grand, family home reminiscent of the old village days in its modern cul-de-sac 'Longmire'. Longmire is the name of a lady who lived in the village.
