The Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe is located on Ross Ave across from the JP Morgan Chase Center office tower in the Dallas Arts District. The Cathedral's cornerstone was laid in 1898 and the building was dedicated Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in 1902. In 1977, the church was renamed Cathedral Santuario de Guadalupe / Cathedral Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
