Located at 2449 Maple Rd. in Wilson, this home was constructed in 1835 by Nehemiah Whitlock. It is significant in that both the front and sides were constructed of small water-rounded stones with 5 courses per quoin. Quoins, lintels, sills and watertable are cut limestone while cut fieldstone makes up the foundation. Two Doric style columns , tramsom and sidelights frame the front door.
