Taken from the marker itself:

'Placed under the joint sponsorship of the S.A. Division of the Institute of Surveyors Australia and the S.A. Dept. of Lands.'

'This plaque is the reference point for all distances and coordinates in South Australia. It is accurately connected to the Johnston Geodetic Station which is itself the reference point of all coordinates on the continent and lies near the centre of Australia. This position of this point was fixed by satellite-based technology in April 1987.'

Whilst I was not able to obtain any actual data about the survey marker, with the correct login (of which I do not have), the information should be able to be obtained from the website listed below.
