This historic water tower was built in 1901. Fortunately, it was not torn down when it went out of service and is currently in the process of being renovated. The local historical society has plans to turn it into a viewing tower as it sits on the city's tallest hill and has a terrific view. It can be found across the street from the Fort Atkinson Middle School on East 4th St.
