This unique weathervane is located atop a small repair shop on the west side of the City of Auburn, New York and is in the shape of the VW symbol used for many years on the older Volkswagen Beetles.

I don't know how I spotted this unique weathervane, however, when I did, I knew I had to waymark it. It is located atop a small auto repair shop that specializes in Volkswagens. They have several old Beetles out in the weeds behind the shop and a couple of the VW buses in the front as well.
