The center is located at 4901 Breakwater Drive, the frontage road next to the Hayward-San Mateo Bridge approach. Use the Clawiter/Eden Landing Exit. Interpretive programs focus on the tidal marsh and include cultural and nature displays. A recent exhibit included waterfront-themed art.
The rustic wood building perched on piers above the wetland is only open on weekends but is a gateway to miles of wetland and bayfront trails which are open every day. Bring your cruiser or mountain bike for miles of lumpy but level scenic shoreline trails and birdwatching!
For more information, see the Center's website.
