Outside of Corpus Christi TX. Park road 22 after you cross the causway to Padre Island. Dry camping on the beach for up to 14 days. You will be in the Padre Island National Seashore. There are 5 Miles of beach for 2 Wheel drive vehicles. 65 miles for 4 wheel drives. You will not feel crowded. I have spent the last 5 winters there. Will meet people from all over the US and Canada. There are Bench Marks on the Island but they are hard to find.(In the dunes) I have found most that have not been destroyed.
