The first Pals was opened in 1956 in Kingsport, Tn. Original menu items included burgers, fries, shakes and cokes. You would walk up to the front counter, place your order then move to another pickup point to wait for your order.
In 1964, their famous hot dogs were added. Their secret recipe chili with onions topped these dogs.
1984 - Drive thru came to Pals. In 2006 they celebrated their 50th anniversary.
We have eaten here and their hot dogs are incredible if you like them with "the works".
