The "Leaskdale Manse" was erected by St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in 1886.
Lucy Maud Montgomery who married the Reverend Ewan MacDonald in July of 1911 left Prince Edward Island for Leaksdale, Ontario, where they lived until 1926.



Newer plaque beside the back entrance of the "Manse" or 'old house'.
