This Woodmen Marker is on the grave of John L. Pritchett (6/7/1866-3/19/1908). This marker is in very good shape considering that this is 100th anniversary of its erection. The inscriptions are pretty hard to read but it is solid and prominent in its surroundings.

The West Hill Cemetery in Dalton, Georgia is a very large cemetery and there interred are thousands of former citizens of Dalton. The wealthy and the regular average folks all lie in peaceful repose here.

One section of this cemetery has the graves of 141 unknown Confederate soldiers and 4 unknown Union soldiers from the Civil War.
