Marble memorial dedicated to the 2335 men who lost the lives serving their country at Pearl Harbor, December 7th, 1941. This memorial is on the left of the flagpole located in Grape Day park in downtown Escondido. To the right of the flagpole is a memorial dedicated to all of Escondido's fallen heroes. Memorial was sponsored by the Pearl Harbor Survivor's Association, Palomar Mountain Chapter #24.
