Mt. Hollywood - Cityscapes on Waymarking.com

At 1619 feet, Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park offer one of the best views in the city. This includes the views of downtown Los Angeles and of the Santa Monica Bay. The peak is reached by several hiking trails in Griffith Park and is one of the parks most popular hiking destinations.

While the park is closed after dusk, many people do visit to watch the sunset over the ocean. And there are often organized night hikes to this summit so there are some opportunities to view the city lights from on high as well.
