Apparently these bricks were sold to help finance the erection of a very nice Confederate veterans memorial at the cemetery in Dalton, GA. The memorial lists hundreds of Confederate Veterans from the Dalton area. The bricks themselves are a mixture of many types of names including dedications to individuals, names of the donating party, businesses, families, etc. It appears that one could have anything one wished engraved on the bricks.
