I became intrigued with this category after reading BillsBayou's analysis. So I wrote a little AppleScript to calculate the 360 palindromes in my area and started plugging them into Google maps to see where they were. Oddly, the first coordinates I tried turned out to be in the back yard of a home I used to live in, but no longer have access too. Many were off in the surrounding mountains surrounding Silicon Valley and pretty rugged looking.
Finally, I found this one, N 37 13.512, W 121 53.173. which wasn't very far away and looked to be in the front yard of a house. I was able to stand in the driveway and nail the coordinates quickly!
