The GE Building is an Art Deco style building located in Rockefeller Center in Manhattan, NY. The building is 850' tall housing 69 floors including the observation decks. It is the 9th tallest building in New York City. The lead architect was Raymond Hood and construction was completed in 1933.
The New York facilities of NBC Studios calls this building home. The most popular studio in the building has to be Studio 8H where Saturday Night Live is broadcast. Other noted shows that have been filmed here include 'The Tonight Show', 'The Rosie O'Donnell Show', 'The Today Show', 'Late Night with David Letterman', 'Late Night with Conan O'Brien', 'Jeopardy', and more! It is also where the show '30 Rock' gets its name as the address of the building is 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
