This is stop 6 on the Pea Ridge Battlefield Tour.

The Orientation Table is fairly new and this was my first visit to it.
But in the past there was a different story here.

In the early morning hours of March 8, 1862 the remnants of McCulloch's Division formed a defensive line on this rocky ground just below this East Overlook.
Confederate defenders tried to seek shelter amongst these rocks.
But the massive attack against the rocks was overwhelming and the Confederate line broke.

This is a great stop so make sure you visit.
I did not get all the information about the Artist/Creator or the date is was done maybe you could add that.
