Lions of Das Konzerthaus in Gendarmenmarkt, Berlin - Lion Statues on Waymarking.com

Two huge lions adorn the massive steps at the entrance to the Konzerthaus. The building dates from 1821, so is the most recent of the three impressive structures. Der Französische Dom dates from about 1705, and Der Deutsche Dom 1708. No, they are not the same design! All the buildings have been restored since World War II.
