Some fine gargoyles on the village church in Bletsoe, Bedfordshire.

The gargoyles have the water spouts through their mouths and reside on the church tower. All are men in various forms, notably hairy and winged and with a hat. They spring out of the walls with their arms holding the tower.
The church of St Mary is mentioned in the Domesday Survey of 1086 and there is a lovely lytch gate and plaque.
