Located in Bicentennial Park off Ohio Route 67, the Wyandot County memorial is of black marble and is engraved on both sides. The front of the memorial, facing the state highway, is divided into three parts. In the middle is an engraving of three soldiers, like the statue at the Washington DC memorial. They stand above a folded US flag. Below the flag is a list of county soldiers killed in action, and a quote from President Kennedy. The panels on either side list Vietnam veterans and "Vietnam Era veterans". The back displays a collage of scenes from Vietnam and the dates of the conflict.

Behind the black marble memorial are three flagpoles displaying the US, Ohio, and POW/MIA flags. The US flagpole at least seems to date from the park's original bicentennial designation. The memorial is ringed by 5 black marble benches, one for each branch of the armed forces. A plaque states the dedication date along with a thank you to the people of Upper Sandusky for the park setting and to various local officials.
