Daniel Boone Marker # 74 - Jacksonville, FL - Daniel Boone Trail Markers on Waymarking.com

According to Everett G. Marshall's book titled "Rich Man: Daniel Boone" on November 4, 1921, the Jacksonville Times-Union announced ceremonies connected with the unveiling of this bronze tablet. The monument was originally located in front of the old courthouse, but at some undetermined date was moved to its current location on the grounds of the new courthouse at 300 Bay Street a few blocks from its original site. The marker rests on top of a concrete stand.
