Bromham Campsite has been established since 1964 following the generous donation of the woodland by Leslie B. Sell. The camping field was leased from the Ministry of Health and later purchased and the final 8 acres of woodland bordering Grange Lane were purchased in the late 1970s.
The site entrance is adjacent to the Bromham Heritage Trail and an old Roman Road crossed the campsite following the John Bunyan trail to the village of Stevington to the west. There are terrific views of the countryside outside the Scout campsite gates along the walk to the old railway line.
