"Durant Hall, 1912, is named for
Reverend Henry Durant, the first president
of the University. It houses the Department
of East Asian Languages and Culture and
currently the East Asian Library, which will
move into the C.V. Starr East Asian Library
in the Chang-Lin Tien Center when it is
completed. Durant Hall was designed by
John Galen Howard."
