Bomont Church Benchmark - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

First to find/log in 51 years - awesome! Found this one around 4:30pm in my renewed effort to figure out USGS datasheets. This Benchmark disk was found exactly where the description put it: about 4.17 miles up line 9. The benchmark is in perfect shape - as is its setting. Chisled square reference mark was searched for but not definitevly found. What was once the "Bomont Methodist Church" is now "Faith Missionary Baptist Church"

Part of the challenge of figuring out these datasheets is figuring out where places like Bomont were all those years ago. That is also much of the fun!
