This is a marker I found while Waymarking the wonderful murals in this pocket park located on D Street in downtown Lemoore, CA. This small town gets sizably bigger if you count our military 'residents' at LNAS (Lemoore Naval Air Station) which is just a few miles west of here.
The marker, set in stone amidst the park landscaping, was dedicated in 2007 by the National Garden Clubs, Inc., and is representative of the strong support our community has for our Armed Forces.
